This profession not only allows you to be your own boss but at the same time makes you a very respected and important member of the society. Dentists have a civic sense of responsibility and often volunteer services at a lot of nonprofit organisations; they provide free services to needy such as the handicapped or elderly. They also educate the masses on the importance of good oral health as mouth is the gateway to the body and if it is neglected, it can give a rise to lot of other problems. Keeping all this in mind it is no wonder that a lot of people are choosing dentistry as a profession.
